In support of local entrepreneurship and innovation, RefineM proudly sponsored this year’s SPIN66 Innovation Summit in Springfield, Missouri. Individuals gathered at the eFactory in downtown Springfield on May 7-8 to share ideas on diverse industries, including IT, technology, healthcare, art and design, and business through entrepreneurship seminars, industry-specific breakout sessions, and a pitch pit for startups to share their ideas and compete. SPIN66 organizer Cody Stringer, entrepreneurial specialist at Mercy Research and Development, commented on the summit’s mission.

“SPIN66 is an annual conference on innovation and entrepreneurship that is meant to engage and inspire members of Springfield’s innovation ecosystem. We want to foster new connections and new ideas in a way that builds entrepreneurial capacity in the region. The 2015 event was a major achievement that highlighted talented thought leaders in our community, connected young entrepreneurs with resources and potential mentors, and inspired attendees to follow their passions,” Stringer said.
