Description:
As an Agile product owner, you have likely struggled to determine which user stories to place at the top of your backlog to maximize the value delivered by the team. When faced with competing opportunities in terms of time and return, how do you decide what will deliver the most value? That is where a concept known as value points comes into play, a concept we will explore further in this webinar.
We will explore the concept of story points, value points, and the resulting "bang for your buck" you can use to effectively prioritize user stories by their expected return. By utilizing relative sizing / affinity estimation and these concepts, you can gain another tool to effectively estimate the value provided by user stories and select the ones with the best value. You will come away with a greater understanding of the principles involved in selecting the "bang for your buck" user stories and tasks.
After completing this webinar, you will be able to:
- Understand the components of the "bang for your buck" metric.
- Apply methods to quickly and effectively estimate user stories and tasks in an Agile setting.
- Begin using enhanced value delivery methods to more effectively prioritize backlogs.
